Difference between Animals and Humans during birth

A baby cow walks within a few hours of birth, but for a human baby, it takes 18 months because a baby cow got a fully developed brain. For us, humans, we have only a half-baked brain at birth…yes, it is an underdeveloped brain, which continues to develop even after birth. A baby has to learn slowly to use each and every body parts. So, eyes, head, calf, hands, legs get connected with the brain after birth and start functioning fully. That is the reason; eyes take 15 days for fully functioning, head become erect after 45 days, baby rolls after six months, sit independently after 12
months and start walking after 18 months.

Relationship between physical movement and brain development

The connection between nerves in legs and brain gets strengthened when a 4-month-old baby lifts and turns legs. For a child, till 8 years every movement in their body parts develop and strengthens neuron connections. So, the child learns to use the body part by developing neuron connection in the brain. So, for children, when they play, they actually create a new pathway or strengthen existing neuron pathways. So, the first eight years are a wonderful window, during which there is a tremendous opportunity for the child to develop their brain. It is like developing a highway, a super-wide neuron highway, upon which you can carry out other mental and intellectual activities.

Why climbing a tree is the best exercise for the brain?

Climbing a tree is good and the best exercise for the brain because the brain constructs a bridge, super-wide bridge, between already developed neuron highways. It is one exercise which connects neuron pathways between the right and left brain. Hence it is an important base for children to develop their creative thinking abilities. Since in the modern environment, climbing a tree is a difficult thing to do, we can ask children to do similar smart moves or exercises, which connect both left and right brain. There is a cross-crawl exercise which brings similar benefit. In fact, an adult can do this exercise, if you are stuck up with a problem and looking for a creative solution. But the most important part is, developing these exercises as a routine for the child so that you create the best- paved road when the brain is flexible.
